Skyline Cottage is a fantastic location to spend your family vacation. Located on Lake Leelanau, the home offers private lake access, a grassy yard and plenty of sleeping and gathering space for your family of 12 (we request no more than 8 adults). Within the home, you will enjoy the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and living room spaces. The kitchen is well appointed with all of the items needed to make a meal for your family. There is even a propane grill for those wanting to grill a meal. The four bedrooms offer plenty of sleeping space. The primary bedroom has a king bed and an attached bathroom. Just down the hall is the bunk room which contains three twin bunks, a full bunk, a sleeper sofa and a trundle bed. Off the living space you will find a bedroom with a king sized bed and lake views. The final guest room has a queen sized bed. There is also a guest bathroom. Outside of the home, we highly recommend you take advantage of the private access to Lake Leelanau- the sandy soft bottomed lake is the perfect place to take a dip on a hot summer day. The nearest boat launch is about 1/2 mile away so we encourage you to bring your boat (or ask us for recommendations on boat rental companies) to maximize your lake house experience. Boats up to 22 ft are allowed to tie up to the dock. The firepit and deck offer a fantastic outdoor gathering place for those who wish to remain on shore. Dogs are welcome for an additional fee- please reach out to management if you are planning on bringing a dog. Please see rental agreement for cancellation policy and house rules.
