Completely remodeled on the inside, Whispering Pines is a dream home for your Traverse City vacation. Located a stone’s throw from the TART trail, Traverse City’s recreational trail, this home has close proximity to everything that Traverse City has to offer. The state park public beach is just a short drive away, downtown shopping, restaurants and venue of the National Cherry Festival or Film Festival is about a 10 minute drive. The home is nestled in East Bay township which makes it a fantastic option for those guests looking to attend the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival at Flint Fields (10-15 minute drive).
Whispering Pines is all new construction on the interior of the home. All furnishings, appliances, beds, linens - EVERYTHING is new as of 2022. This home boasts many great amenities like a new washer and dryer, reliable wifi, Smart TV in each bedroom and the living room, dishwasher, air conditioning, and more. Outside the home, guests will enjoy the backyard fire pit area, gas grill, and deck seating. One of the best features is the new hot tub as of fall 2023.
Guests who are interested can inquire about bringing an RV - an electrical hook up is available.
With all main floor living space, this home is great for guests of all ages. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, ample closet space and ensuite bathroom with a shower. The guest room contains a queen bed with a pull-out twin trundle - a perfect sleeping space for the kids! Both rooms have smart TVs. The living room has a pull-out couch. The home sleeps 7 guests.
The open floor plan of the home creates a spacious effect. The kitchen is well appointed with dishes, glasses, pots and pans - all of the items you will need to create a great family meal. The dining table is perfect for a family to dine indoors or guests can opt to sit outside on the deck furniture.
With such close proximity to the TART trail, guests will love having access to four adult bikes for their use. The TART trail extends across Traverse City allowing guests to navigate our beautiful city without needing to get in the car. The scenic bike ride is one we highly recommend!
Whispering Pines is the perfect place for a family vacation at a fantastic price point to enjoy a practically brand new home.

Please note that this home is rented for your quiet enjoyment. Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.
We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and or dishwasher tabs if dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.

Great space! Exactly as described. In a quiet neighborhood and located close to the rail trail. It’s also a short drive to downtown. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

House appears to have been recently renovated and is very nice. The hot tub was perfect for our family as the temps were in the 60’s. Location was good to get where we wanted to go. Only downside is that the neighborhood is ok at best.

Cute home and very accommodating! The sofa bed was not ideal so we didn’t end up using it. Unfortunately, there was as a dead animal under the deck so we had a pretty bad smell in the kitchen and outside for most of the weekend. The hostess did come and try to take care of it the best they could.

Happy with our stay. Everything was as appeared in photos and write up. We enjoyed the hot tub and patio. (Some noise from nearby airport). Kitchen had lots of cooking gear. Host helpful with what we needed. Location handy to things to see and do.

This airbnb was very nice! We were comfortable during our stay and the space was well updated. The only complaint we had was that there were “quiet hours” after 10pm when we could not go in the hot tub. We understood why this was in place, but it would be more reasonable to say that if a guest wants to go in the hot tub after 10pm they would simply need to be quiet outside.

We loved the house. It was in perfect distance from town. They had everything we needed and no issues. My boyfriend is even talking about staying there again. Definitely worth it !!
