Making Memories truly lives up to its name—it's the perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy the best of Northern Michigan. Located in the charming town of Traverse City, this welcoming home sits on a large, private lot in a quiet residential neighborhood. Guests can enjoy both peace and convenience, with a variety of attractions close by. The public Long Lake beach access is just an 8–10 minute walk or a quick 2-minute drive away. Downtown Traverse City—home to some of Michigan's best dining and shopping—is only 10–15 minutes from the house, and several local wineries offer wonderful opportunities to sample regional wines and ciders. The town of Empire and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore are also a short drive away, providing endless options for hiking, biking, swimming, and exploring the many public trails.

When you're not out enjoying the area, the home offers plenty of entertainment of its own. The lower level features a pool table, ping-pong table, and foosball table, along with a large smart TV and ample seating—perfect for family game nights or movie evenings. Reliable Wi-Fi makes the home ideal for guests working remotely as well.

Sleeping accommodations include space for up to 6 guests.

The primary bedroom offers a king bed, generous closet space, and an en-suite bathroom.

Across the hall, the second bedroom also features a king-sized bed.

The third bedroom includes a queen bed, and both guest bedrooms share a second full bathroom conveniently located across the hallway.

The main level includes both a living room and sitting room, giving guests plenty of room to spread out. The dining room features a large table ideal for family meals. The well-appointed kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, and everything you need to prepare meals. A small table in the kitchen is the perfect spot for morning coffee. Starting after the 4th of July, guests will also have access to a gas grill for outdoor cooking. A back deck with patio dining set overlooks the spacious yard and a lovely magnolia tree. In the back corner of the lot, guests can enjoy the private firepit—perfect for s'mores under the stars.

Guests also have access to the garage, including an extra refrigerator—ideal for beverages or additional groceries—though we request parking be done in the driveway.

Making Memories offers all the comforts of home and is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy your stay in beautiful Northern Michigan.

House Rules & Important Information

This home is rented for your quiet enjoyment. Due to liability, township regulations, and insurance requirements:

Day guests are not permitted without expressed written permission from Management.

Guest capacity may not be exceeded at any time.

Violations may result in fines or eviction as outlined in the terms and conditions you agree to upon booking.

A starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap, and dishwasher tabs (if applicable) is provided. Depending on the length of your stay, additional supplies may be needed. Items not listed are not guaranteed—please contact management if a specific amenity is important to your stay.
