Welcome to Paradise by the Bay. This three bedroom, three bathroom ranch home is located in a private setting in Northport, MI.
Guests of this home will enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the woods with the back yard opening up to the private lake access. Inside of the home guests will have access to a master bedroom with a queen bed and two guest rooms each with two twin beds. Additional sleep accommodations are available with the pull out couch in the den.
The home boasts a fully stocked kitchen complete with dishes, utensils, basic spices - everything you will need to make a wonderful meal for your family. In addition to the kitchen, there is a propane grill available for guest use as well. There are three full bathrooms within the home. With a dining room, living room, den space, and three seasons room there is plenty of space within the home for guests to spread out.
Outside of the home, guests have access to the deck complete with an outdoor dining set. There are lounge chairs and beach chairs available for guests to relax in the peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The waterfront is shallow entry from a sandy shore into a sandy bottomed, clear freshwater lake. Guests have access to inflatable tubes to float around in the bay. For those guests looking to take a working vacation, the home does offer wifi along with a smart TV in the living room space. This home has everything to make your vacation feel like home away from home - with gorgeous views of Grand Traverse Bay.

Please note that this home is rented for your quiet enjoyment. Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.
We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and/or dishwasher tabs if a dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.

I recently stayed at Paradise by the Bay, and it truly lived up to its name. It was the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty.
The house itself is nestled in a quiet, wooded area, providing a serene escape from everyday life. The backyard opens directly onto private lake access, which was a highlight of our stay. We loved the shallow, sandy waterfront—it was perfect for our family with little kids. The beds were comfortable and made our stay feel like home. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. the WiFi and smart TV were great additions. It allowed some of us to work remotely while still enjoying the vacation atmosphere. The well water was not an issue at all with dishes or laundry (saw a previous review). Overall, this rental had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway with all the comforts of home and access to a beautiful private lake, Paradise by the Bay is an excellent choice. We can't wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay to the fullest! We found lots of Petoskey stones on the nice beach. Mostly relaxed! The layout of the home was very comfortable. Great place to gather with family!

Had a short family stay at this wonderful property. Everything is as described, down to the fully-stocked kitchen spices. The beds were comfy. The house is spacious enough to allow those who want to quietly chill or read to be away from others-- plus there's the property. The proximity to the water is perfect. Sandy beach, great for swimming or strolling. All in all a five start experience for us. We're looking forward to booking again. Thanks to the owner for making this gem available!

Property Overview: Charming house nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, just a short bike ride from Leelanau Conservancy and local shops. Private little beach. WIFI signal is perfect and almost reaches the beach. The location is fantastic for a relaxing getaway. Room/Accommodation: The bedroom was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We appreciated the extra blankets and pillows. The décor was tasteful and added to the overall cozy ambiance. Host Interaction: I needed to do an early check-in due to an event I needed to be at later that day. The host responded promptly to my messages and was able to accommodate me. Local Tips: Don't miss the early morning sunrise on the beach, and be sure to try the Mitten Brewing Company-Northport and the brick oven pizza setup out back. Improvements: The one thing that would have made the stay an over-the-top experience would be if there was a firepit on site and by the beach. Overall Experience was amazing. Will def book again!

The home was just beautiful and it was just as advertised. Perhaps the most important part for my asthmatic sister is that it smelled fresh and clean, no mildew, no dust. We slept well to the sound of the lake waves gently lapping on shore. The beds in the guest room were a bit soft which was rough on my (bad) back, but they'd probably be perfect for others. My sister (in the master BR) found the bed very comfortable. I would recommend it to all.

only real negative was that the house smelled very musty, therefore some of the bedding did too. Kitchen was well stocked, screened porch was great and we put the game table to good use, beach was very nice. We had a great week!
