Great property with an easy drive to Sleeping Bear hot spots. We struggled a little seeing the property from the street. The house was well-stocked. Everyone in the family loved it

We wanted to be close to Glen Arbor and that we were. The cabin was perfect for our get away. What you see is what you get. But you can’t beat being a short walk to Sleeping Bear Dunes and just a few miles away from Glen Arbor.

I have stayed lots of places in Leelanau and Benzonia counties over the years and this was my favorite. The location was idea for our family: 40 minutes or less to everything we wanted to do and right on the Heritage Trail, which we used almost daily. The house was rustic and cozy - everything we needed and nothing more, which is what I wanted out of this experience. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking all week long, including a crock pot for our long days away at the beach. The living room was spacious and the bedrooms had comfy beds. We loved being perched on the hill and the fire circle was a big bonus. Most of all, I was impressed with the responsiveness of Northland Vacation Rentals when we had an emergency plumbing issue late on a weekend evening. There was a plumber out to help us the next morning! We will definitely be back.

we stayed for a week in August and had a great time. This cabin has the basic necessities in the kitchen, linens, Keurig and regular coffee pot, outdoor seating on deck and fire pit. It is not fancy but the location is amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better location to spend a great Up North vacation. We spent a lot of time in Glen Arbor, walking and biking the Heritage Trail, going to the beach, Glen Lake Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive, wine tasting in TC, Empire Bluff Trail and more.

The host was super responsive and easy to work with. We had a large family in town and a shuffle of guests from one rental to another and our host made it so simple. The review below is from my in-laws who ended up staying here. The house was very clean, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware and cooking equipment. Lovely and quiet setting. The towels are TERRIFIC - very soft. Even though no a/c, there were plenty of fans to keep the house cool. I would definitely stay again. My only suggestions would be the following: The water pressure is so low, that it’’s inadequate. Probably has to do with it being on top of a hill? The flow in the half bath is the only place it is good. Also, maybe turn up the water temperature. It would be great to have Instructions on how to use the TV and remotes. Not all renters are "techies" :). We appreciated the responsiveness of our host.

Great place to stay. All basic amenities present. Very clean. Be aware, parking requires good driving skills but that is just due to the nature and location of this property. Oh, if you bike it is right on the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail.

The place was cute and clean. They are obviously upgrading and I think this is the first year they are renting. The location is 30 minutes or less from everything we wanted to do. Lake Ann is tiny and charming, loved the live music at Lake Ann Brewery. I would give it 4.5 stars overall if it were an option.

As long time renters in this area we came across this new listing and were we ever pleased. Excellent location in regard to hiking, biking( on the trail) and beaching. The house is fully stocked from soft bath towels and sheets to a kitchen that was easy to cook in. There’s a charcoal grill and lovely deck for outdoor dining as well. Another plus: pet friendly! We would definitely recommend this rental and would return as well.

Hill house is happily situated near Dune Climb of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. Accessibility to the prairie path without having to drive or load up bikes for a family of six was helpful. Cabin was very clean. No musty smells. Bathrooms were tidy. Kitchen was stocked with basic kitchen appliances and pots and pans which we used to cook dinner on most nights. Used the well placed fire pit one night to cook brats and s'mores. Neighbors conveniently sell firewood from a self-serve pallet. Would recommend as a comfortable place to stay for the family who would love to hike, bike, and swim the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park activities.
