Lakeside Lodge is a great place to come to relax and take in the water views. Grab your book and beverage and sit on the patio area by the house or walk down a few steps and enjoy the spacious water view deck. When you are ready for water activities, head down the steps to where the dock is. Have fun on the water carpet, two new kayaks as of 2022 and head out on the canoe. For the boaters, Mickey Lake offers you easy access to Long Lake. The home offers three bedrooms and one and a half baths. On the upper level you will find the well stocked eat in kitchen, bedroom with king bed and full bath with shower/tub combination. Mid level you will find a gathering area, bedroom with full bed and bath with shower. The lower level has the laundry and more sleeping accommodations with a bunk bed (twin over full).
Enjoy the conveniences of home with central air, full size washer and dryer and Wi-Fi. Your well behaved dog is welcome to join with a pet fee. On all levels you'll enjoy great water views. After a busy day of exploring all that Northern Michigan has to offer, come back home to relax around the fire pit and reminisce about your Michigan memories.
Your well behaved pet will be welcomed for an added fee.

Please note that this home is rented for your quiet enjoyment. Due to liability reasons, township rules and insurance policies, day guests are not permitted without expressed permissions from Management. Guest capacity for the home is NOT to be exceeded at any time. Guests not adhering to this rule could face a fine or eviction as outlined in our terms and conditions that are agreed upon by renting our home. Capacity is strictly enforced and randomly checked.
We will provide a starter package of paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and/or dishwasher tabs if a dishwasher is available at the property. Depending on the length of your stay, you may need to purchase more of these items. Other items not included in this list are not guaranteed. Please reach out to management to inquire if a particular amenity is important to your stay, or plan accordingly.

Nice home - stocked with starter essentials - very helpful. Description of area and lake very accurate- beautiful clean sandy bottom lake- quiet area. Close to Sleeping Bear and many activities we were able to do. Lovely- had a great time!

We had a wonderful week at Lakeside Lodge. We did not realize how beautiful Northern Michigan was. Mickey lake was so peaceful and secluded from Long Lake, making it easy for us to let our children take the kayaks and canoe out. They were always within sight. Our teenage son loved the hammock and would like to get one at home. The house was ready to go upon arrival and we found everything we needed while we there.

This home worked out great for our family of 6 adults and 3 dogs. While none of our group is disabled, there are quite a few stairs down to the house and then again out the back steps to the dock. There is another house nearby but we couldn't see another house on the other side so it is semi-private and wooded. Mickey Lake is a simply beautiful no-wake lake and the reflection of the trees around the lake and the fireworks were amazing. From this house, it's a very short canoe ride to Long Lake through a short channel. Having the canoe and floaties, noodles and life jackets was great during the week. We also loved hearing the loons many times during our stay! The firepit worked out great as well as the charcoal bbq grill. The hammock was a welcoming feature and clean. The house has AC units which was very comfortable. TC is just a short 15-20 minute drive and so are the larger grocery stores, etc. A washer and dryer is included which we appreciated. The property manager was very attentive to any concerns and an awesome communicator throughout the whole process. Thank you.
