With beds for 8 and an optional pull out for an additional 2 guests this home allows you to bring the entire family for your vacation- even the family dog is welcome to accompany you! The home is a ranch style home with all living space on the same floor. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and adjacent room with a hot tub. The guest room is across the hall with a queen size bed. The bunk room has 2 sets of bunks (4 twin beds) making it a perfect space for the kids to sleep. The fully stocked kitchen complete with a double oven, stove top, dishwasher and microwave provides a perfect space for making meals. There are two living spaces for the family to spread out and relax- one with a full sized pool table. Washer and dryer are available for guest use as well. The sunroom and patio spaces allow for plenty of outdoor seating if you prefer to take your meal or your morning coffee outside. The large, grassy backyard is the perfect place for family yard games, kids to run and the dog to have space to roam. There is a basketball hoop in the driveway for a friendly game of HORSE. At the end of the yard, guests have private beach access to Houghton Lake. Guests are free to bring a boat and tie up to the dock with the nearest boat launch being only about 2 miles away. The lake is sandy bottomed and clear fresh water- guests can enjoy splashing around for hours! At night feel free to cozy up and make a fire in the provided fire pit near the water and plan the next day's adventure. The home provides access to a large garage for guests to store fishing boats, snowmobiles or any other belongings and the long drive provides ample parking as well. The home is set back quite a bit from the road which allows for much privacy and limited noise. Winter guests can enjoy ice fishing or hop on one of the many snowmobile trails in the area. The home is heated and with a hot tub to warm you up after fun in the snow it is a perfect place to stay! ***Up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional fee.
